Laurence and I have been lucky enough to have visited La Garrotxa several times and we seem to be in the area at least once a year. Scenic vistas, rural landscapes, and medieval villages abound here. With a large network of trails, Garrotxa is a popular destination for both hikers and cyclists. An original homestead site settled in 1874, Homestead Ranch Regional Park features diverse topography ranging from rolling, open meadows to tree-covered bluffs running the length of the park.
